"...for the most part people are real friendly, just some hate gringos, and they usually yell at you as they are driving by. Sometimes they start cussing at you in english and thats when you got to ignore them 'cause usually the only time they have the 'nuggs' to do that is if they have a gun or lots of buddies.  But the general people are really kind.  My companion looks just like a native so he blends in because he is from Tonga.  But its alright.  People are always staring and talking about me right in front of me, and if I say anything they just call me nosey! haha.  So its pretty funny. The YM river trip looked awesome.  Maybe we can do that down here. haha.  All the rivers and gullys are just filled with trash.  They don't have dumps, they just take trucks of trash and dump it into the ravines and the sewage too.  I talked to the mission president and asked about learning 'lingue' (a local native mayan language) and he said he would send me to learn linque next.  So I am pretty excited about that.  Thanks for the letters.  Love Elder Fisher"
