Mothers Day

We got to talk with Kyle on the phone for mothers day. He sounded great!  His companion is from Utah, but will most likely get transfered next time.  Kyle is hoping for a Latino companion so he can polish up his spanish.  Everything is going well, he is serving in a neighborhood of Guatemala City that is relatively well off. So the missionary work is a little slower because the people do not want to change.  But the gang activity is a little less as well.  Looking out his apartment window, he can see 3 volcanos, 1 is smoking all the time.  

The rainy season is just beginning.  Guatemala City is surrounded by mountains with lush vegetation.  He is excited for an trip the Zone has planned next week to the old capital city of Guatemala.
